First National Bank & Trust Names Barbara Cromell as Senior Accountant

First National Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the hire of Barbara Cromell as Senior Accountant.  She is responsible for maintaining the Bank’s system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.  This includes preparing financial statements, reports for the Board of Directors, management, and regulatory agencies along with managing the Bank’s cash position, reconciling Bank investments and manage accounting accruals and prepaid expenses and reserves.

Ms. Cromell obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Northern Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to returning to the Upper Peninsula, she worked as a Senior Auditor at Andrews Hooper Pavlik in Lansing, and after moving back to Marquette, was the Senior Accounting Manager at Northern Economic Initiatives Corporation. Barbara and her husband, Eric, reside in Kingsford with their two sons, Dylan and Kyle.
