With the Houghton Relief and rebuilding efforts still ongoing, First National Bank & Trust wanted to give our neighbors up north a hand by donating over $2,000 in cash to the Portage Health Foundation through Superior National Bank and Trust, for much-needed supplies and materials.
First National Bank & Trust also teamed up with Norway Springs, Inc. to provide a pallet of bottled water, which was brought to Bergeron Toyota in Iron Mountain and transported by Ryan Rea the week after the flooding.
In addition, through an employee fundraiser, the bank also purchased diapers & wipes which were transported by 41 Lumber along with their relief effort contributions.
“We are so proud to be rooted in our strong Yooper community and to see all of the many area businesses and individuals who have contributed their time and resources,” said Jody Beauchamp of First National Bank & Trust.
