Several community businesses gathered to present sponsorship checks to support the annual Dickinson County Office of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Appreciation Picnic event.
Representatives from BOSS Giving, on behalf of BOSS Snowplow, Champion, Inc., and the First National Bank & Trust Veterans Outreach joined together to sponsor the concert. This past Friday, they presented the official checks to representatives from the Dickinson County Veterans Affairs Office and the Dickinson County Veterans Board, organizers of the annual event.
All Dickinson County Veterans and their families are invited to attend the Veterans Appreciation Picnic at Lake Antoine Park, on Saturday, July 29, from 11:00am–2:00pm, with music from 2:30pm–10:00pm. The event will feature food, music, games, and door prizes. Music acts include Runaway Train, 141 North, and The Descendants.
The public is invited to join from 2:30pm–10:00pm for an evening of music, and to show appreciation for our area Veterans.
