The Imagination Factory Children’s Museum, the centerpiece of the Our Place Community Center, enhances interactive learning, unique creative play and self-discovery for children.  The Our Place Community Center-Imagination Factory Children’s Museum sponsors leadership development and creative experiences for children, youth and family members: children’s play activities, leadership training pods, career development workshops, education series and family events.

“First National Bank & Trust has been very enthusiastic about both the opening of the Imagination Factory Children’s Museum and Gus Macker basketball returning to Iron Mountain,” said Barb Reisner, Imagination Factory Co-Director and Gus Macker Event Coordinator.  “We greatly appreciate First National Bank & Trust’s contributions to the Imagination Factory and the Gus Macker Tournament.

Barb Reisner, Jonathan Ringel and team leaders are working closely with over 100 community leaders to bring Gus Macker back to Iron Mountain on July 17 and 18 and to open the doors of the Imagination Factory Children’s Museum Labor Day Weekend 2021.  First National Bank & Trust has also entered two teams in to the tournament.  All proceeds from the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament go towards the purchasing of Imagination Factory museum exhibits and bathroom enhancements, as well as Imagination Library registrations and books for Reach Out and Read medical clinic programs.

“First National Bank & Trust is proud to be able to support the Imagination Factory Children’s Museum,” said Chief Financial Officer Matt Lutz.  “This will be a great addition to our community and I am excited to bring our two children to the museum when it opens this year.”
