Summer Student Path to Success- Lexi Roberge

Lexi Roberge is from Kingsford and graduated from Kingsford High School in 2020. After graduating, she started working as a Summer Student for First National Bank & Trust and has worked for FNB ever since. She graduated from Bay College in May 2022 with an Associate in Business Administration and joined FNB as a full-time loan processor in the retail loan department. She is currently studying at Lake Superior State University in pursuit of her Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a minor in Marketing. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2024.

What did she enjoy about being a summer student at FNB?

I enjoyed working with my coworkers. They welcomed me into their department from day one, and I cannot express how thankful I am for them. I also liked getting to work with experienced employees. We have lenders that have been here for 30+ years, and they have an abundance of knowledge. I liked getting to learn from them. I am grateful for the opportunities that being a part of the First National team has given me.

What does she currently enjoy about her career at FNB?

I enjoy going to work because I feel like I am more than just another employee. As an employee of First National, I enjoy feeling like I am part of a team. I think everyone who works here feels this way and likes to be a part of something bigger than themselves. I also love how involved the bank is within the community. They make it a point to do good throughout the community, and it shows. First National not only cares about their community, but they care about each of us individually as well. I hope to keep being a part of their amazing company for years to come.
